The African Agentic AI Design Challenge
Build a working agentic AI for a real African institution.
This challenge is open to not only developers but problem solvers located anywhere in Africa. The task is simple! Build an agentic AI, using MCP, plus open-source tools, that solves a real workflow problem facing African institutions.
Every track shares the same shape. A real bottleneck. A non-negotiable human-in-the-loop rule: Your AI agent recommends, a human-in-the-loop decides.
Top 40 submissions are shortlisted, get mentor support and compute credits, and the best 10 go on to showcase at the MCP Dev Summit in Nairobi this November!! The top 40 will form the first cohort of a visible pipeline of agentic AI developers on the continent; and your submission is how you enter it.
